About our Doves

Our doves safely return home to their loft at my residence south of Rogersville, Alabama. A lot of work goes into training the birds beyond their natural instinct to return home, and a lot of loving care.

The birds are from the Rock Dove family, some call white homing pigeons. We also use a small domestic white dove for inside displays. Please don't let anyone convince you to use the smaller dove for release, they have no homing instinct, and do not adapt to the wild, they very quickly fall prey to dogs, cats or hawks. They have never had to seek food for themselves and it is cruel to release them to the wild.

Our birds are well cared for, they are vaccinated and love to bathe regularly
